The Oscars 2023: nominations, when the show is, how to watch

THE Oscars 2023 looming on the horizon, which will take place on Sunday, March 12.

At this year’s show, absurd comedy-drama Everything everywhere all at once leads nominations with 11. German anti-war epic All Quiet on the Western Front, tragicomedy The Banshees of Inisherinbiopic Elvis and Steven Spielberg’s The Fabelman are not far behind.

The golden statues are (hopefully) in good hands with Jimmy Kimmel for the third time. Here’s everything you need to know to tune in to the 95th Academy Awards, honoring films released in 2022.

When will the 2023 Oscars take place?

The 2023 Oscars are taking place Sunday, March 12 from 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. The ceremony will take place at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.

In other time zones:

  • Australia: Monday, March 13 from 11 a.m. AEDT.
  • United Kingdom: Monday March 13 from 1 a.m. GMT.

How to watch the Oscars

The Oscars will be televised on ABC. If you cut the cord (a cheaper option with major benefits), you can stream ABC live on YouTube TV, FuboTV, Hulu with Live TV and DirecTV.

You can also stream the show live via abc.com or the ABC app.
