State Mobile’s new April update is now live on Android and iOS, game developer Krafton announced Thursday. The update brings various new features, including the popular BR: Extreme Mode on the Erangel map, a new Survivor Pass, a new MCX weapon as well as a mini-game. This game is based on the Among Us theme as part of New State Mobile’s collaboration with Redmond-based game company Innersloth. Players will have access to special cosmetic items, in-game accessories, and a special Among Us-themed event with rewards.

The major update brought by New State Mobile version 0.9.30 is a collaboration event based on Among Us. From April 21 to May 19, players will be able to play a mini-game after entering the starting island of Troy. Squad members must identify a member who is randomly designated as an impostor. While the impostor takes out the others with weapons, the remaining members must try to avoid being killed by the impostor.

Weapons, including a legendary tier pistol skin for the M416, and other items will be available in the limited-time Among Us crate. “Players can also participate in a special in-game event that requires them to complete missions to earn Among Us-themed prizes, including profile frames, titles, icons, and more,” according to a blog post on the New State Mobile website.

As for event rewards, three free Among Us receipts will be given to players. Krafton says event rewards expire May 18 at 1:00 UTC (6:30 IST).

Another major item introduced by the New State Mobile update is the MCX weapon. According to the developers, the MCX is the most powerful weapon introduced in the game. “The weapon is a rapid-fire AR that uses 5.56mm ammo and has a customization option to attach an upgraded suppressor “, he indicates. The Enhanced Suppressor allows players to be more stealthy, however, when using the Enhanced Suppressor the front attachment slot will not be available and the recoil will be increased.

New State Mobile’s April update also brings a slew of weapon customization options along with a few new items. The DSR-1 and crossbow will have an additional customization slot. The slot allows the integration of the Tank Flash Hider into the DSR-1 and magnetic bomb ammunition for the crossbow. Weapons like the M416 and Beryl M762 have a grenade launcher attachment. There is a 10x Deca Vision scope included in the Drone Store, and it can be adjusted from 3x to 10x.

New items that have been added include a poison grenade and a T-RS healing item. Poison Grenade can be used to disperse hidden players in one location or counter a Smoke Grenade. The T-RS can be used to recover HP and increase to 100%. Apart from this, New State Mobile’s April update also brings Survivor Pass Vol. 6 with Marion from the Hunters faction. Marion’s character costumes and appearance can be earned by completing all story missions.

Finally, the popular BR: Extreme Mode is added to Erangel in which 48 players can battle. New players to State Mobile will have access to starter items like the Skorpion, Tier 1 Helmet and Vest, First Aid Kit, Bandages, Painkiller, Energy Drinks, Smoke Grenade, and 500 Drone Credits .
