Week 4 in review: Galaxy S23 series prices revealed, camera samples arrive

Next week we will finally see the unveiling of the Galaxy S23 series alongside the Galaxy Book3 laptops. But for now, it’s back to regular leaks as we recap stories from the past week.

The Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra will all be slightly more expensive than their predecessors (only the Galaxy S23+’s starting Indian price is lower than last year’s S22+, but that’s unofficial) .

We saw an unboxing of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which only reaffirmed what we already knew – the phone comes without a charger or cable. We also got camera samples, showcasing the night mode capabilities of the 200MP sensor and the zoom capabilities of the 3x and 10x cameras. A few 4K and 8K videos rounded out the camera leaks.

Corning has confirmed that the Galaxy S23 series will pioneer Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

Motorola announced 5 phones this week. The most interesting of the bunch, the Moto G73 and Moto G53, have 5G, 120Hz displays, 50MP cameras, and 5,000mAh batteries. The Moto G73 will be available for €300 in a single configuration (8/256 GB). The Moto G53 will be cheaper at €250, that’s with 4/128GB memory, which is the only option currently listed on Motorola’s official website.

The Moto G23 and Moto G13 share the same 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate, as well as the same 50MP main camera on the back. Both also have 5,000 mAh batteries. The Moto G23 is available in Matte Charcoal, Pearl White and Steel Blue colors and is priced at €230 in Europe. The Moto G13 is available in Matte Charcoal, Blue Lavender and Rose Gold colors for €180.

The Moto E13 has a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 60Hz refresh rate, a 5,000mAh battery, and runs Android 13 (Go edition). It costs €120.

OnePlus will introduce the OnePlus 11, OnePlus 11R, as well as the OnePlus Pad, OnePlus Buds 2 Pro, OnePlus Keyboard, and OnePlus Q2 Pro 65-inch TV on February 7.

See you next week!
