A suspect on the watch list of the American Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI, Emmanuel Dike Chidiebere, has been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Enugu Zonal Command for conspiracy, wire fraud and money laundering.

The EFCC operatives  acting on verified intelligence, tracked the suspect to Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State where he was arrested on Wednesday, March 23, 2022.

Chidiebere is alleged to have defrauded some victims in America, Cote D’Ivoire and Poland of some undisclosed amount of money and went underground.

The EFCC Spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, confirmed who the arrest in a statement, however, said that three of his accomplices were still at large.
