British-Nigerian singer, Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua who is widely known in showbiz as Seyi Shay has revealed plans to reveal the gender of her unborn child.

The budding musician made this known during a recent interactive session with her fans and social media users on her verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Instagram.

One of her fans asked about the gender of the child and she indicated that she will be making it known during the baby shower.

The musician was born and raised in Tottenham, London, England, to Nigerian parents. Her mother was from Northern Nigeria and her father is a native of Ife.

Her music career got off a good track when she signed her first-ever record deal with No Apologies, a record company affiliated with Sir George Martin.

She later formed a girl band in the year 2006 and called it Boadicea. The band was managed by Ron Tom who is the founder as well as the manager of All Saints and Sugababes.

She has performed on several shows including the 2013 COSON song awards and also she performed at one of Big Brother Africa 8’s live eviction shows in 2013.
