Enugu State Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, on Wednesday, held a closed-door meeting with religious leaders in the state.

Enugu with eight confirmed cases of COVID-19 (as at Tuesday May 5) has imposed lockdown, curfew from 8pm to 6am, and shut all its land borders as part of measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the state.

The government had said on Monday that it is consulting with relevant stakeholders in the state to review the measures and would announce its resolution within the week.
