Damini Ogulu popularly known by his stage name as Burna Boy is a famous Nigerian Afrobeat and reggae-dancehall singer, songwriter, stage performer and a recording artist. He was born on 2nd July 1991 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State in the south southern part of Nigeria.
Burna Boy’s inclusion in the prestigious Grammy nomination list broke the internet upon its announcement Wednesday , November 20, 2019.
He was nominated in the ‘Best World Music Album’ category for his album ‘African Giant’ which also featured Angelique Kidjo who was nominated in the same category.
