Samson Siasia, former Super Eagles coach, has begged the kidnappers of his mother, Madam Beauty Ogere to release her unconditionally on the ground that he does not have the kind of money they are demanding for.

The kidnappers are said to have established contact with members of his family and are demanding for a N70 million ransom.

According to Siasia who spoke with journalists from outside the country, he said he has been out of jobs for 3 years now and does not have that kind of money.

His words:

“The kidnappers I just want to say please, I beg you. The woman is old please release her. I don’t have a job in the last three years. She is an old woman, with this cold, she may not survive it. I don’t have that kind of money they are asking for.”
