Men of the Niger State police command have arrested three men for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl.

The suspects, Abdulrahman Ahmed, 19; Isyaku Umar, 20; and Adamu Sani, 20, allegedly raped the girl in the Maitumbi area of Minna, the state capital.

The state police command spokesperson, Mohammed Abubakar, while confirming the sad incident, said the girl was kidnapped by the men while on an errand. They then took turns to defile her.

The child’s mother was told what happened to her child and she reported the matter to the police.

Abubakar added that the suspects have since confessed to the crime and will soon be charged to court.
