‘I Didn’t Steal The Soapy Dance’, Says Naira Marley As He Swears With His Life

Controversial Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley has debunked reports that he stole his latest dance step to his new song, Soapy.

He went on to swear on the lives of his children, mother, and father to prove his innocence.

According to the singer, the dance step belongs to him because he invented it while he was in the EFCC’s custody.

A Nigerian artiste identified as Chief Ogbonnaya and his crew had called out the singer for allegedly stealing the dance-step from them.

A lot of criticisms have also trailed the singer’s new song and its dance step as celebrities have taken to their social media platform to publicly condemn it.

The singer, who remains undefeated, addressed the issue on his Instagram page.

He said:

“I swear on my kid life, my mother, father, my life and music career that I didn’t steal the soapy dance. I have been dancing soapy since when I was at the EFCC cell.”
