How Do We Make Our Virtual Event Engaging?

This is probably the number one question we receive when we explore a client’s Virtual event plans. I’ve talked a lot about how much people are craving interaction – lockdown fatigue is real! For a recent client event here’s how we engaged and turned up the FUN!

First of all, welcome to the Cruise Ship for a client’s sales awards celebration. Now we know there’s no replacing the real deal or a remote sunny island, but who wants to celebrate their big moment via a zoom meeting or webinar link.

On the cruise ship, Attendees could:

  • Join the main theatre for the awards presentation where James Cunningham and Jessica Holmes acted as hosts (Thanks Speakers Spotlight!)
  • They could watch and vote in a lip sync battle – this group was TALENTED!
  • Enjoy a private concert by The Barenaked Ladies. Side note: they are masters of tailoring their performance to a client.

Following the awards, attendees could visit the Bistro and meet with executives in small group meetings.

On the Veranda, a host of interactive options awaited them. Attendees could take a selfie in their fancy wear. It was a very busy spot!

Other games such as Bingo, Spin The Wheel, and a specially designed Trivia game engaged attendees They could join the Casino and play a round or two of blackjack. Exploring the ship held so many hidden surprises. Engaging? You Bet!
