Kele Fleming – The Last Apple (Live)

Most of Kele Fleming’s recent releases have been collaborations with electronic music producers. Together they have created fabulous ambient and dance remixes of Kele fan favorites like “Sturgeon Love” and “Sea in Me“. However, even amidst EDM remix trappings, at heart she remains a 90s rocker armed only with three chords and the truth.

“The Last Apple (Live)” is the brand new single and video from Kele Fleming, released worldwide via all major streaming services on April 8, 2024. The track was recorded live in the Fall of 2020 at the peak of the pandemic. Lockdown had transformed the singer’s scheduled album release party into a live streaming event. Backed by an ensemble of bass, drums, keys, and guitars, Kele delivers a call to arms against the relentless march of corporate greed and environmental destruction, inspired in part by Joni Mitchell’s “they paved paradise” classic ‘Big Yellow Taxi’.
