Rune the Jackal is the professional name of electronic music composer and producer, Lucas Tennity. He made his solo recording debut in 2023, and has since released a string of popular singles and EPs. However, Lucas’ musical journey started years earlier, in the virtual world.

He showcases his to thousands at large-scale industry events. His immersive performances have earned Tennity a reputation as a pioneering figure in the intersection of music and technology.

“This Ain’t Me” is the brand new single from Rune the Jackal, released worldwide via all major streaming services on March 8, 2024. The track opens on an ambient vibe as rhythmic synth chords paint a dreamy soundscape and syncopated organic percussion instruments set the rhythm. Soon the beat drops on an infectious mid-tempo house groove. A female vocalist steps to the mic and soulfully contemplates existence as percussive arpeggios and vocal samples paint the periphery.
