We first heard from Gabe Saenz in August of last year, upon the release of his single “Chrysalis“. That track introduced The Static Dive readers to a multi-talented singer-songwriter who made his solo professional recording debut in 2019. Raised in a musical family in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Gabe now calls Dallas, Texas home.

Since his debut, Gabe Saenz has dropped over a dozen singles. He is a creative and eclectic recording artist with a distinct dance/pop vibe. Gabe cites his early exposure at home and school to a broad range of musical styles as a key influence on his sound. Last month he dropped his first release of the new year.  

“Not Your Type” is the brand new single from Gabe Saenz, released worldwide via all major streaming services on March 20, 2024. The track opens on a deep sawtooth synth bass and ambient keys riding a mellow downtempo dark electro-pop groove. On the mic, the singer coaxes a reluctant lover.
