Orami is an emerging independent Electronic music producer and composer from the Mediterranean island nation of Malta. He made his professional solo recording debut in 2020 and quickly amassed an impressive volume of work. Since dropping his first single, the prolific producer has released over a dozen singles and four full-length albums.

A lifelong musician and multi-instrumentalist, Orami launched his current recording project as a way of coping with the unexpected downtime of Covid lockdowns. Inspired by experimental rock and Electronic Music from the 90s to today, he crafted an experimental sound. He is an adventurous composer who blends organic and electronic into a unique sound, distinctly his own. Orami is currently in the studio working on his fifth LP.

“Vortex” is the brand new single from Orami, released worldwide via all major streaming services on March 10, 2024. Classic analog synths paint the edges of the mix, introducing the track on a psychedelic, retro-electronic vibe. As the piece progresses, guitars and keys fade in and out of the mix. They take turns weaving the song’s hypnotic central theme through an avant-garde mix of melodic and percussive elements.
