Tyrone Bradley’s New Seattle Funk

Tyrone Bradley is a veteran musician, engineer, and producer who made his solo recording debut on Lynx Records in 2021 with the single “Love You Better”.  That track introduced a multi-talented creator who has spent years recording artists of every imaginable style and genre. Although originally from New York City, the multifaceted producer eventually found his way to the West Coast.

Holding court at BRS studios in Seattle, Washington, Tyrone Bradley works with top studio musicians, producers, and arrangers to bring his compositions to life. Since debuting he has dropped three singles. On May 1st of this year he will release his debut full-length solo album.

“Things I Do For You” is the brand new single from Tyrone Bradley’s forthcoming LP Blackout. The track opens with a bit of Nile Rodgers-style funk guitar before the beat drops on a live ensemble of bass, drums, guitar and keys laying down a classic Quincy Jones-inspired funk-soul vibe. An analog synth riff rides that disco-infused retro groove as the singer steps to the mic with a soulful declaration, assuring a new love that he is here to stay.
