Player_8 is the professional name of veteran independent music producer, Fer Fragío.  He made his solo professional recording debut in 2018 with the album The Rich & The Poor. That record introduced a genre-bending musician and composer from Madrid with a sound that blends organic and electronic elements into a sound uniquely his own.

In the six years since his debut as Player_8, the prolific producer has released three albums, a single, and now a brand new EP. Fer is an adventurous and experimental producer. His mix of styles and instrumentation paints a rich soundscape full of surprises.

Continuará is the brand new EP from Player_8, released worldwide via all major streaming services  on March 8, 2024. The four-song set continues the eclectic creator’s innovative explorations into genre and sound. It’s a groovy formula of synths, solos, beats and bass.

The record opens with the midtempo lofi groove “Paz”. Analog synths ride a chilled bass and drum vibe as Fer’s electric guitar adds a touch of blues. He follows that peaceful jam with the stormy retro electro-pop “Tormentas”.

“Ciencia Ficción” is a funky guitar jam. Once again, Player_8 spins live and looped performances into hypnotic instrumental sci-fi mood. The EP closes with the title track, a rock-leaning guitar duet featuring and arena-worthy solo.
