KYZR is the professional name of sibling music production duo Marcel Julius and Stefan Thomas. The multi-instrumentalist brothers dropped their debut Album The 7 Adventure in 2019. The record was a concept album that gave a modern take on the timeless tale of a boy and girl falling in love.

Since then, KZYR’s music has reached new fans around the globe. Their follow-up project was a collaboration with vocalist Erik Frisberg for the Song “What it Means”, which received heavy airplay at home in the Netherlands and abroad. On Valentines Day 2024, the brothers delivered their much anticipated sophomore LP Beauty Comes Crashing Down.

“This Time It’s Real” is the current single from KYZR’s new album, released worldwide via all major streaming services on February 14, 2024. A solo bluesy Stratocaster opens the track as the singer joins in with a soulful love song. As the song progresses, layers of vocal harmonies, strings, synths, bass, drums, and guitars enter the mix. On the mic, Frisberg delivers a virtuosic love song as the track builds from its mellow and jazzy intro into a theatrical prog-rock powerhouse.
