Rowan Skye is an independent singer, songwriter, and producer from Seattle, whose music career began years before he dropped his debut solo single in 2018. While he was still in preschool, the young artist’s parents recognized their prodigious son’s talents. Soon he was enrolled in a specialized school for the arts.

He was a multi-instrumentalist by elementary school, and was producing his own tracks by the age of fifteen. The diversely talented Rowan Skye toured the world as an orchestral musician and played drums in a series of bands in his hometown’s legendary music scene. In February, he dropped his first new music since the 2023 LP King Of The Outcasts.

“Butterflies” is the brand new single from Rowan Skye, released worldwide via all major streaming services on February 12, 2024. The track opens on a lo-fi acoustic vibe before ethereal vocal harmonies and soft ambient synths set a serene scene. On the mic, the singer offers a sweet love song in a smooth and soulful pop tenor as piano arpeggios and guitar licks paint the periphery.
