We first heard from Rafael Montecruz in December of last year, upon the release of his single “Tell Me Why“. That track introduced a multitalented independent songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist producer. After year of composing and producing in Spanish, Rafael made his English-language debut in 2023.

To introduce his music to an English-speaking audience, Rafael Montecruz translated and re-recorded some of his Spanish-language favorites. He has connected with fans around the world with popular tracks like “Tell Me Why”. He recently dropped his first new music of 2024.

“Day (Song For My Valentine)” is the brand new single from Rafael Montecruz, released worldwide via all major streaming services on January 23, 2023. The track opens with Rafael’s signature acoustic guitar. A bluesy lead guitar hauntingly paints the edges of the mix as vocalist Abraham Armell steps to the mic. Over a mellow pop groove he delivers a dreamy and wistful Valentine’s Day torch song.
