We first heard from Kregg in April of 2023. Back then he was a member of the All Rights Reserved Band . Their now prophetically titled single “I’m Leaving” introduced a multi-talented singer, songwriter, and producer with a taste for loud guitars and knack for writing great hooks. Originally from Helena, Montana and now based in Phoenix Arizona, KREGG is a lifelong multi-instrumentalist who grew up in a musical household. He launched his new solo project in 2023 after years of fronting a series of indie rock bands. His debut single dropped in January and has already connected with tens of thousands of fans worldwide.

“Way Down” is the brand new single from KREGG, released worldwide via all major streaming services on January 10, 2024. The track opens on a minimalist but ambient downtempo alt-rock guitar and drum intro as the singer steps to the mic. He plays a clever lyrical game, flip-flopping between heartbreak and devotion as he riffs on the song’s title. Soon the song erupts into a massive chorus that pairs the angsty grunge of Nirvana with the infectious power-chord pop of Weezer.
