Los Angeles-based ReLoVe first appeared on these pages earlier this month, upon the release of their single and video “Join As One“. That romantic retro-pop ballad introduced singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Glenn Jost, producer Victor Bender, and their international roster of virtuoso collaborators.
The ReLoVe sound blends elements of classic pop & rock with positive vibes and a modern production aesthetic. On their latest, the band is adding a reggae groove and some rasta wisdom to the mix, courtesy of Jamaican song man G-Terra.
“The Vegetable Song” is the new collaboration from ReLoVe and G-Terra, available worldwide via all major streaming services. A timbale roll introduces the track as the beat lands on a laid-back organic reggae rhythm. An ensemble of bass, drums, guitar, and keys lays down a chilled island groove infectious hook and an upbeat mood. On the mic, G-Terra warns of the dangers of living a sedentary and disconnected life.
