Autumn Skeyes is a veteran independent musician who debuted a new solo project in 2023 with the release of the single “Madder”. That record introduced a classically trained multi-instrumentalist and producer from Seattle, Washington. The genre-bending composer’s sound mixes elements of pop, EDM, and electronica.
Since debuting, the prolific producer has released five singles and now a brand new EP. Autumn Skeyes cites similarly groundbreaking artists like Seven Lions, Opeth, Ilan Bluestone, Above and Beyond, Alpha 9, an Johannes Brahms as inspiration for his experimental approach. The talented creator is philosophical about the possibilities of his eclectic style.
Till The Dust is the brand new EP from Autumn Skeyes, released worldwide via all major streaming services on December 11, 2023. The four-song set is an epic ride through the many flavors of modern and classic electronic music. From the ambient intro and dubstep drop of the title track, to the deep house and trance vibes of “When I’m Gone”, Till The Dust is an emotional and inspiring ride.
Skeyes blends big synthwave moods and disco-infused progressive house beat on “Talk to Me”. On “The Liar”, a female vocalist calls out the deceptive titular character as the music alternates between melancholy dream-pop and massive EDM drops. “When I’m Gone” continues in that vein before closing the record with anthemic festival energy.
