Frank Zozky is a genre-hopping composer and producer who made his wide-distribution debut in 2022 with his single “Um, Techno”. Regular readers of The Static Dive will remember his song from a few months later “Getaway“. Those and other tracks introduced a multi-talented and eclectic emerging independent recording artist and songwriter from the Bronx in New York City.

Since his official debut, Frank Zozky has released a remarkable volume of work, including four dozen singles. Prior to his appearance on streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music, the prolific producer amassed five years of original tracks on Soundcloud. His sound ranges in style from modern EDM to synthwave, and from upbeat electro-pop to guitar-driven punk.

“The Takeover” is the latest single from Frank Zozky, released worldwide via all major streaming services on December 28, 2023. A retro synth bassline opens the track as a male vocalist steps to the mic. He delivers an R&B-infused serenade as ambient keys paint the edges of the mix and the beat drops on funky, mid-tempo electro-pop groove.
