Chris Logan is an emerging singer-songwriter with a unique multicultural sound. He was raised and still resides in the Southwestern Border Town of Nogales, Arizona. The town’s melting-pot of Mexican and American cultural traditions played a huge part in shaping Logan as a man and as an artist.

The singer’s own story also finds its origins both North and South of the border. His mother is from Mexico and his father from the southern United States. Chris Logan moved from North Carolina to Nogales at the age of four. Years later, his adopted border town would inspire a unique blend of the two country’s distinct musical traditions.

“One and Only” is the debut single from Chris Logan, The Border Town Kid, released worldwide via all major streaming services on December 8, 2023. Drummer Martin Flores and bassist Rene Camacho open the track on a laid-back mid-tempo cowboy groove as accordionist Sergio Cardenas and guitarist/producers Angel Duran and Miguel Flores slide into the mix.

The band lays down a timeless tejano/country vibe, immediately transporting us to some small town Southwestern dance hall. Chris Logan steps on stage and takes the mic. In a smooth country tenor that lands somewhere stylistically between John Prine and Alan Jackson, he serenades the hypothetical young couples as they slow dance the night away.
