Flowers For Juno is an emerging independent band making their professional recording debut. The project is the brainchild of singer Benjó James and musician Jack Wilson. A somewhat enigmatic duo, for now they are keeping their details close to the vest.

We do know that they are a gothic rock/metal band from Newcastle upon Tyne, in the North-East of England. Beyond that, Flowers For Juno prefer to let the music do the talking. They’re making their first statement with a dark, riff-fueled rocker.

“Physical Culture (This Is Why I’m Single Mix)” is the brand new single from Flowers For Juno, released worldwide via all major streaming services on December 17, 2023. A lo-fi punk riff and retro analog synth introduce the track. Soon the beat lands on a thunderous goth-metal groove. On the mic, Benjó James offers social commentary in cool low growl, bringing to mind the likes of goth icon Nick Cave or industrial rocker Rob Zombie.
