Dr Sven is the professional name of emerging independent recording artist Sven Jungmann. The Berlin-based rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer is making his solo international debut in 2023. With the release of his first single, the multitalented physician now adds ‘professional musician’ to his already impressive résumé.

He was a successful doctor who then became a successful entrepreneur. In his day job, Jungmann works with future-tech Artificial Intelligence systems. He becomes Dr Sven in the recording studio, where for three years he has been honing his craft.

“Sweden State of Mind” is the debut single from Dr Sven, available worldwide via all major streaming systems. Loosely inspired by Jay-Z’s “Empire State of Mind”, the track rolls on an infectious 90s-style boom-bap groove. On the mic, Sven offers an ode to his favorite Scandinavian country as he recounts wild nights of parties and Northern Lights.
