Fo$ter Kehd is an emerging independent artist who made his solo professional recording debut in 2022 with the single “Trapped in Her Dream”. That track introduced a multi-talented rapper, singer, songwriter and producer. His genre-bending sound mixes elements of trap, emo, and pop with a dose of psychedelia.
A Massachusetts native, Fo$ter Kehd grew up in Boston’s foster program. The experience inspired his artist name. It also led to close ties with his foster parents, whom he credits with valuable guidance through his difficult early years. Music has been his escape ever since he wrote his first rhymes back in elementary school.
“Really Though, Nevermind” is the brand new single from Fo$ter Kehd, released worldwide via all major streaming services on December 3, 2023. The track opens on a sample of the song “Tell Me Lies” by indie-pop artist Lyfelxss. Soon the beat drops on a syncopated, Latin-infused mid-tempo hip-hop groove. The rapper steps to the mic and drops an introspective rapid-fire freestyle about achieving his dreams, despite the haters.
