Levi Grxce’s Deep Sea View

We first heard from Levi Grxce earlier this year upon the release of his album Celestial. That record introduced The Static Dive readers to a multi-talented alternative hip-hop recording artist with a psychedelic vibe. The 25 year-old California native first started making music when he was still in high school.

He originally performed simply as Levii, before switching to Levi Grxce in recent years. Over the past decade, the prolific producer has released eighteen albums and dozens of official and unofficial singles. As inspiration for his laid-back and slightly Southern stoner style, the eclectic artist cites the influence of a broad range of genres from hip-hop to rock and country.

“Sea” is the current single from Levi Grxce’s album Vivianne, available worldwide via all major streaming services. Ambient synths and a bluesy guitar open the track and set a melancholy scene as the beat drops on a slow and low 808 groove. On the mic, Levi delivers an introspective and esoteric stream-of-consciousness rap about life, love, and self-identity.

Check out “Sea” below. You can also hear the song on the Deep Dive : Hip-Hop and R&B playlist, or listen to the album Vivianne on your favorite streaming service. Follow the links below to connect with Levi Grxce and dive into a deep catalog of original independent alternative hip-hop.
