In 2023 he introduced the new project Eddie F Presents, his platform for producing, mentoring, and developing emerging talent. A native of Mount Vernon, New York, the influential producer has already made an indelible mark on modern hip-hop culture. Now he is helping a new generation do the same.

“This is Hip-hop (Hip Hop 50th Edition)” is the brand new single from Eddie F, released worldwide via all major streaming services on October 6, 2023. He is joined on the track by fellow hip-hop legend Erick Sermon (EPMD) and red hot Decatur emcee, Jarren Benton. The two rappers drop shoutouts to everyone from big Daddy Kane to Redman as they deliver a loose freestyle dedication to the music that made them. On the beat, Eddie F drops a bangin’ boom-bap groove built around a funky acid-rock guitar riff.
