MC Shep is a veteran of the legendary Atlanta music scene. MC Shep has worked as songwriter, musician, and producer for countless emerging artists. In February 2022 he made his solo debut as a recording artist with the track “Super Shimmy Shuffle“.

In less than two years since that first track, MC Shep has produced a remarkable volume of work. He has dropped two albums, an EP, and over a dozen singles of old-school hip-hop cool, disco moods, and funk grooves. On his latest release the adventurous producer adds an island vibe to the mix, with a little help from a reggae legend.

“Don’t Worry (Three Little Birds)” is the brand new single from MC Shep, released worldwide via all major streaming services on August 25, 2023. On the track, Shep reimagines Bob Marley’s laid-back Rasta classic as an up-tempo, Caribbean-infused electro-pop bop. The track opens on a groovy soca beat, set at about twice the tempo of the original. On the mic, Shep and a chorus of backing singers deliver their joyful rendition of the Jamaican prophet’s inspiring words.
