Vocalist Dixie Ziemba is a veteran live performer who is making her solo professional recording debut in 2023. After more than twenty years working as a lounge singer, the talented singer/songwriter headed to the studio to capture her original music on tape. Dixie has a classic jazz-infused pop sound reminiscent of the great AM radio crooners of the 70’s.

Originally from the Philippines and now based in Arizona, Dixie Ziemba comes from a rich musical legacy. She was mentored by famous Filipino composer George Canseco. Growing up, as she developed her voice the young singer looked to icons like Kitty Kallen, Connie Francis, Brenda Lee, and Sarah Vaughn for inspiration.

“Broken Glass” is the debut single from Dixie Ziemba, released worldwide via all major streaming services on March 3, 2023. A melancholy solo piano opens the track, performed by the song’s co-composer Andrew Hall. Ziemba steps to the mic and delivers a heartbreaking relationship post-mortem. She sings a soulful open letter torch song to her ex. The heartfelt ballad has a timeless and cinematic feel as the singer ultimately finds resilience amidst her heartache.
