First Fish in Space is a guitar-driven Alternative Rock power trio. Chris Salzmann, Wolfram Schlimme and Frank Hufschmied formed the group in the early 2000’s in Bern, Switzerland. They made their international professional recording debut in 2016 with the album “All Hell Breaks Loose.”

Since the release of that first record the trio has focused primarily on singles. Over the past 12 months in particular they have been winning over fans around the world with a successful string of groundbreaking videos. Their visual for the recent single “Halfway to the Stars” has even been accepted into the 2022 Cannes Short Film Festival.
“Glow” is a new single and video from First Fish in Space, available worldwide on YouTube and all major streaming services. The inspirational Alt-Rock track opens on a duet of electric and acoustic guitars. The band builds to a full a Rock ensemble through the first verse as the singer delivers a consoling and inspiring message. He reminds us that life gets better as soon as we start living it.
Lush backing vocal harmonies give the chorus an ethereal calm. By the second verse the song has landed firmly on a driving Pop/Rock groove. The singer drops bits of Zen wisdom and motivational mantras as guitars, strings and synths build the mix to a cinematic, arena-ready U2-inspired sound.
