ih8nikki is an up and coming Digicore musician from Livermore, California. The talented 18 year-old artist only started making Music a few months ago but he is already making waves in the community.  Since his debut single “irllymissher” was released in March, the prolific songwriter has dropped six more singles. With each track his audience grows. His music has also drawn the attention of some big names in the scene.

“do you h8 me?” is the latest single from ih8nikki, released worldwide to all major streaming services on July 24, 2021. On the track nikki is joined by popular Digicore artist “funeral.” The song rides on an experimental Trap beat featuring a wild mix of processed bass drops, trippy music-box arpeggios and background vocal effects. ih8nikki takes the first verse with a low, hypnotic vocal. Funeral counters that deep meditative delivery with a melodic verse in his signature high-pitched singing voice. The two singers play off of one another well. Each has an other-worldly tone that matches the psychedelic track perfectly.

The music of ih8nikki is inspired by and often addresses the artist’s ongoing battle with depression. He finds solace in the process of writing and recording new songs and from the ongoing support of his girlfriend Mia. Through his music he hopes only to connect with others.

I don’t really seek fame, or riches. I just want to be able to have people play my music one day, and actually enjoy it. I wanna make something different, something that people would go “woah, this is cool.’
