This week, we started the poetry unit in my Fifth-Grade class. I told my students that I’m participating in #NaPoWriMo. They asked if they could help write today’s poem. The prompt is mistake. This is what we created. Thank you to LH and JPJ.

Mistakes are like Hurricanes —

roaring, dangerous, chaotic

Mistakes are like monsters —

horrific, unforgettable, deadly

Mistakes are like Rainbows —

inspiring, reflective, intense
