Is it possible to trust the fall?
Standing on the ledge,
the buzz of hate, of longing,
of regrets and a tiny spark of hope
throb behind tired eyes
In the quietude of this early morning,
when the first rays of light kiss
all that was ravaged by the storm,
anything can happen
Is it possible to trust the fall?
The need to provoke lingers,
like the rough with the smooth
across tender skin
Trust the fall, trust the fall
let go
Spiraling through time and space,
through memories and wishes for altered realities,
through the Pain,
through that pain
my feet finally find solid ground
In this new world, birthed by each heartache,
there is peace in acceptance
As every trial bestows new found strength,
I find my way back
spiraling through time and space
Taking steps to cleanse the past
I set fire to old intentions
and breathe life into new ones,
time and space, time and space
finally released by the fall
