Sometimes the weeping willow extends her limbs, thankful to be Living out in the sun. Sometimes I walk along the riverbank and hang dreamcatchers in her branches. Sometimes the snarling shadows of grief follow, trying to entice engagement. Not this day. This day, I wrap my spirit in celestial silk and choose joy. Living off-center and slightly skewed, I celebrate the thornbush of flames and praise her beauty. Yes, today I am dancing between waterfalls and making my own rainbows.
