1. He Started Rapping When His Dad Was In Prison

Many people assume that T.I. helped Domani get started as a rapper, but that isn’t true. When Domani began his rap journey, his father was actually behind bars. Domani told XXL, “I learned how to turn my feelings and emotions into good music. At that time, I was so young it really didn’t sink in. My dad was in jail, I really didn’t know that. But I knew [I wanted to do music] after I did my first song”

2. Tiny Isn’t His Mother

Because of the way T.I. and Tiny’s reality shows have been structured, some people are probably under the impression that she is the mother of all of T.I.’s children. That, however, isn’t the case. Domani and his older brother, Messiah, are from T.I.’s relationship with Lashon Dixon. In addition to the siblings they have on their father’s side, they also have another sister from their mother.

3. He Sells Merch

Being a rapper is about more than just putting out music, it also involved building a brand. That’s exactly what Domani is doing. Now, those who want to support him can do so by doing more than just listening to his music. He sells merchandise through his website. At the moment, the only items he sells are long sleeve shirts.

4. He’s Good Friends With J. Cole

Domani’s father isn’t the only connection he has in the music industry. He has earned the respect of some other well-known figures in hip-hop including North Carolina native, J. Cole. The two have formed a solid friendship over the years, and Domani often turns to Cole for advice.

There’s a common misconception that the new generation of rappers doesn’t take pride in their lyrics, but Domani doesn’t feel that way at all. While talking to XXL, Domani said, “I try to have a message in all of my songs, I don’t like wasting people’s time, wasting people’s money. They spend their hard-earned money, coming out to shows [and] listening to music. I want to tell them something.”

8. He Chose Not To Return To Season Three Of T.I. and Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle

About a year after T.I. and Tiny: Family Hustle was canceled, the family returned to VH1 with another show called T.I. and Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle. After appearing on the first two seasons of Friends and Family Hustle, Domani turned down an $80,000 opportunity to return for the third season. Instead of being on the show, he decided that he wanted to focus all of his attention on his music.

9. He Plays The Guitar

Rapping isn’t the only musical talent Domani has. He has also been learning how to play the guitar, although it doesn’t appear that he has played the instrument on any of his own songs just yet. There’s no information on whether he plans to learn more instruments in the future.

10. He Was Part Of Spongebob Live!

Being a successful artist isn’t just about releasing a bunch of music. The best rappers also find creative ways to share their talents with their audience. According to Domani’s IMDB page, he wrote an original song for The SpongeBob Musical: Live on Stage! in 2019.
