Ken Johnson

Ken is an amateur photographer from Wisconsin. Ken brought his Nikon D-750 with the Nikkor trinity (14-24, 24-70 and 70-200). Accompanied by his beautiful wife, Ken explored South East Iceland with our November workshop. You would expect snow in Iceland in November, but what a wonderful surprise to be greeted with wind, rain and positive temperatures. The rain made every day a challenge, but as you can see from Ken’s photos, we made good use of any breaks in the weather. We pushed a little further East on one of the rainy days as far as Eystrahorn and had stunning views of Brunnhorn mountain on the way back.

Northern Lights

Unfortunately, we didn’t see Northern lights on the Workshop, but Ken managed to photograph them on a bus tour after the photo trip.
