Chelsea fans are convinced Mkhaylo Mudryk is "going to cook" next season after another impressive performance for Ukraine Under-21s.

Mudryk, 22, picked up where he left off for his nation from their quarter-final victory against France at the weekend as they faced Spain in the final four of the U21 Euros on Wednesday (July 5).

Having provided a sublime Assist in their previous outing, he set up another goal which gave Ukraine an early lead. Mudryk danced past his defender after being played in behind.

The winger then cut the ball back for team-mate Artem Bondarenko, who finished into the back of the net. Blues supporters swooned over the footage on social media.

One tweeted: "Fantastic assist from Mudryk. He is going to cook next season..." A second argued: "Mudryk is about to explode under Poch. I’m ready."

"Last season he was only warming up. Now he's catching up on the pace of the Premier League," commented a third.

A fourth wrote: "Wow. So so happy to see Mudryk playing with confidence." And a fifth claimed: "Enzo Fernandez playing them balls in behind for Mykhailo Mudryk will cause havoc next season."

A sixth said: "It gives me chills realising that this is one of my players. Honestly, next season is going to be even better, and the fans will be in for a feast."

 Mudryk could've have had another assist later in the first-half. He once again left Spain's right-back for dust and made his way into the box before crossing to a team-mate, whose effort was superbly saved by the goalkeeper.

Despite taking the lead, Ukraine were outclassed by their opponents, who went on to cruise to a 5-1 victory and book their place in Saturday's final, where they'll face England after they beat Israel 3-0 earlier in the day.
