Eden Hazard aims dig at Carlo Ancelotti following departure from Real Madrid

Eden Hazard's four-year spell at Real Madrid will come to an end this summer after the Club agreed to mutually terminate his contract.

The Belgian winger joined Madrid from Chelsea in 2019 for a club-record fee of €115 million, but he failed to live up to expectations. He was plagued by injuries and fitness issues, and he only managed to score 6 goals in 66 appearances for the club.

In an interview with RTBF, Hazard confirmed that he will continue playing football, despite reports that he could retire. He also took a swipe at his former manager, Carlo Ancelotti, saying that he had been "rested" for the past two years.

Hazard will now be looking for a new club. He is still a talented player, but he will need to prove that he can stay fit if he wants to revive his career.

Here are some additional details:

Hazard's contract with Real Madrid was due to expire in 2024, but the club agreed to terminate it early in order to free up wages.
Hazard is reportedly being linked with a move to a number of clubs, including Chelsea, Inter Milan, and Newcastle United.
It remains to be seen whether Hazard will be able to regain his former form, but he will be hoping to find a club where he can get regular playing time.
