WPVR New York, the leading international online radio station, has announced its latest Platinum Vibes Hot 55 Chart for the week of May 9, 2023.
This is the second week of the Hot 55 Chart since its launch and the chart experienced several songs making dramatic moves up and down the chart in this latest release.
The multi-genre chart incorporates pop music, international pop (J-Pop, P-Pop, K-Pop and C-Pop), EDM and R&B and is composed of music from a wide variety of artists from across the world. The diverse international flavor of the songs can really be seen when you view the the “Country” column of the chart.

How the Hot 55 Chart is Compiled
The chart’s criteria is influenced by a variety of factors within a given week:
- Number of on air plays
- Amount of listeners during a song’s airplay
- Song requests via Website Request Form or posts to the station’s social media platforms on Twitter, TikTok, Instagram)
- Social media mentions, retweets, shares etc. related to a song
