The Veteran Film Producer Raj Kumar Barjatya, the father of filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya passed away on Thursday after suffering a cardiac arrest. For years Mr. Barjatya’s work in the industry as a producer and is credit for backing films direct by Sooraj Barjatya.

Furthermore, Films like Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo (2015), Hum Saath Saath Hain (1999), Hum Aapke Hain Koun (1994) and Maine Pyar Kiya (1989) are among some of the blockbuster projects under his production.

Movie ‘Hum Chaar‘ was his last production venture. It released last Friday alongside Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Gully Boy‘.The 75-year-old breathed his last at Sir H. N Reliance Foundation, an official from Rajshri productions told. Just after this the news his production house tweet Rajshri Films’ official handle. The banner tweeted, “It is with profound grief that we mourn the loss of Raj Kumar Barjatya, father of Sooraj Barjatya. May his soul Rest In Peace”

Some of the biggest hits in the history of Hindi films, associated with Rajkumar Barjatya. He inherited the baton of Rajshri Films from his father Tarachand Barjatya and passed it on to son Sooraj. Raj Kumar Barjatya is endured by his wife Sudha Barjatya and son Sooraj Barjatya. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “Shocked and saddened to learn of Rajkumar Barjatya ji’s demise… Raj Babu – as he was affectionately called – was an extremely soft-spoken person… Heartfelt condolences to Sooraj, the Barjatya family and #Rajshri parivaar.”

Similarly, Tarun Trade analyst Komal Nahta confirmed the news on his social media handle as he tweeted,

“Terribly shocking news. Shri RajKumarBarjatya passed away some minutes back at RelianceHurkissondas Hospital. Can’t believe this. Met him just a week back at his Prabhadevi office. He spent so much time with me and my family. He looked perfectly alright then. And now, he’s gone!”
