On October, 2017, Uganda music industry lost a fresh, young and talented music producer Dan Muto who was commonly known as Danz Kumapeesa who had spent months at Nsambya Hospital after getting badly beaten up by unidentified people. Danz Kumapeesa was hospitalized after hitherto unidentified goons thumped him, and robbed him in a night attack in June 2017 as e was going back to his home in Makindye where he was staying. If Danz Kumapeesa was still alive, today 1st February 2019, he would be celebrating his 22nd birthday but unfortunately he never lived to witness it. He used to work at the Makindye based Jah Live studios and he produced songs for artistes like; Winnie Nwagi ( Musaawo and Magic), Bebe Cool (Mbozi Za Malwa) and Fille’s hit song Nakupenda, Rema Namakula (Yo Sweet) and Ykee Benda (Munakampala) among others.
