Man begins Trek for Buhari, a 25-year-old man distinguished as Tukur Aliyu, has started trekking from Birnin-Kebbi, Kebbi State to Abuja, a distance of about 600km and about 11 hours by road, to celebrate the victory of President Buhari in the last election.

Shortly before he left Birnin Kebbi, Aliyu uncovered that he pledged to trek to Abuja if APC won or lost in the presidential election.

As indicated by him, “I made a promise and a vow that if APC won the presidential election or even if it failed, I would trek from Birnin Kebbi to Abuja. I am doing it for my party, the APC and I am doing it because of Buhari our president.”

Aliyu, who just conveyed a little sack, one bow of garri, some sugar, beans cake and an all out money of N1,500 as his essential prerequisite for the long trek, additionally said when he at finally reached Abuja, he would be glad if he could see President Buhari to congratulate him on his victory at the poll.

Bala Haruna, said the report regarding his demise was fake news relayed on the social media. He dismissed the talk that he was taken to emergency clinic over any type of difficulty.

“As I am talking to you now, I am on my way back to Bauchi after we finished a painting work somewhere outside Bauchi. It is true, I made the promise before the elections and I fulfilled it and I have no regrets,” he said.
