An Arabic folktale recreated a number of times by mega production houses like Walt Disney Pictures, Aladdin has captivated young minds for generations with its exciting and exquisite storyline. The movie is about Aladdin, an Arabian street urchin and his love for the beautiful Princess Jasmine and of course, his magic lamp enclosing a Genie and all the fantastic adventures in store for them!
3.Mary Poppins
This is an adorable and touching story of a nanny, Mary Poppins who has magical powers which help her to unite two neglected children with their father through music and adventure.
4.Beauty and the Beast
Which child isn’t familiar with this classic fairy tale of love, magic, monster and happiness at the end? Beauty and the Beast has been adapted as a children’s movie more than just once, including as an animated musical fantasy. It depicts a prince who’s transformed into a monster, what transpires as its consequences and how love can break the evil spell at the end.
5.The Jungle Book
Adapted from Rudyard Kipling’s famous collective works, The Jungle Book is one of the most famous children’s films that narrates the tale of Mowgli, an orphaned man-cub raised in an Indian jungle by a family of wolves. The story also details Mowgli’s tryst with some animals, especially the dreaded Sher Khan, and the captivating turn of events and outcomes that has riveted children for years.
6.Toy Story
Toy Story is a popular computer animated Disney movie series that spins the message that toys actually have life, love to play by themselves and do come alive. A fascinating computer-animated adventure film, Finding Nemo traces the experiences, challenges and indomitable love of the overprotective ocellaris clownfish, Marlin who sets out to search for his abducted son, Nemo with a regal blue tang Dory to rescue it. The movie traces a myriad trials and tribulations that the father fish braves to reunite with his son. A touching and moving movie that kids must not miss for anything!

This endearing movie series illustrates the adventures of four Central Park Zoo animals who are suddenly faced with the rigours of tough life in Africa after living in comfort and indulgences in captivity. Making their way back to New York City would be replete with challenges and a matter of survival, which they have to do with help of a cunning band of penguins and other characters, which adds to the adventure and run.
15. Bolt
A White Shepherd puppy, Bolt, who acts in a television series with his little master, Penny, is made to believe that he has superpowers that make things happen, which in reality, isn’t true. An incident strikes when Bolt ventures out of his comfort zone to look for Penny, who he believes has been kidnapped. While out, Bolt comes in touch with reality and matures as a being, thanks to some amazing friends he makes.
16.Frozen
Here’s a chilly fairy tale inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen, in which a brave princess ventures out to find her separated sister. The princess steps out into the cold with an iceman, his reindeer, and a snowman, and a number of incidents occur that make this movie worth your time.
17.Tangled
This is a charming animated tale of a maiden princess with magical long blonde hair. Confined to her isolated tower leading a restricted life all along, she breaks free of the bondage and goes out into the world with a stranger to experience unknown discoveries. A perfect movie that will instil a spirit of adventure and courage among the little ones!
18.Heidi
This is one of my all time favourite kids movies,the splendid story of a young lass living in the lush Swiss Alps with her goat herding Grandfather but is compelled to live with her disabled cousin in a palatial house to humour her. The tale is about Heidi coming to terms with her new life, healing her cousin in the process and also fighting some wrongs before going back home. A must-watch movie for kids to derive serious inspiration from.
19.The Star
An adorable and winning story of a donkey who inspires one to uphold faith and friendship – the perfect movie for little ones to ponder over.
20.Babe
One of the most popular movies loved by kids that tells the fascinating story of a pig, Babe, raised by sheepdogs, who learns their ways and goes about doing chores like herding sheep and living it up with them.
21.Moana
Moana is a 3D computer-animated Disney adventure about a Polynesian island chief’s daughter who goes against odds to honour the wishes of the ocean to reunite a mystical relic with the goddess Te Fiti and also save her people from a devastating affliction.
