Phad Painting is a folk art, traditionally done on a long piece of cloth or canvas. The narratives of the folk deities of Rajasthan, mostly Pabuji and Devnarayan are central themes. The Bhopas, and Bhopi traditionally carried the painted phad scrolls and kept singing these narrative art all night in village temples.
