Story:

The movie revolves around the lives of two individuals, Advait (Aditya Roy Kapur) and Sara (Disha Patani,) who are in a non committal relationship in Goa.  Their life gets uprooted after a dramatic event, post which Advait goes on a killing spree after five years. He is pursued by two cops, Anjaney Agashe (Anil Kapoor,) a gunslinging cop without morals and Michael Rodrigues (Kunal Kemmu,) a righteous cop to boot.

Review:

The movie is set in Goa, which offers a rich backdrop for the film with its architecture, parties, beaches and carnivals.  Mohit Suri made use of all that Goa has to offer and portrayed it well. Aditya Roy Kapur plays an introvert who meets a stranger (Disha Patani) at a party and begins a relationship with her.  Disha Patani, on the other hand, portrays a free spirited girl who visits Goa to explore and live her life to the fullest.

Aditya Roy Kapur underwent a major transformation to achieve the muscular body he flaunts with ease in the movie.  His transformation from a simple person exploring Goa to a serial killer was brilliant and he pulls it off with finesse.  Disha Patani is suited to play the role of Sara and she portrays the character perfectly.

Anil Kapoor brings all his experience to the fore and is spot on in essaying a cold hearted cop without morals.  Considering Kunal Kemmu’s talent, Mohit Suri could have put it to better use. The film’s music is a saving grace and is woven perfectly into the plot.

All in all, it is Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur who manage to save the film, which has a cliched story and muscled bodies fighting each other.
