Ajay Devgn started the year with a bang as his film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior  broke many box office collections and collected very good returns in terms of its gross earnings.  The actor is already working on his next projects. Ajay Devgn recently started working on the sets of S.S. Rajamouli’s RRR.  Now, Ajay Devgn shared the first look posters of his next film, Maidaan.

Maidaan is a biographical movie starring Ajay Devgn and Priyamani in lead roles and is directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma.  The movie also has Gajraj Rao and Boman Irani in supporting roles. Maidaan is based on the true story of Syed Abdul Rahim, who coached the Indian National Football Team.  Syed Abdul Rahim is said to be the architect of Indian football. Ajay Devgn will portray the character of Syed Abdul Rahim.

Along with one of the first look posters shared by Ajay Devgn on Twitter, he wrote a message which read, “Yeh kahaani hai Indian football ke golden phase ki aur uske sabse badey aur successful coach ki #Maidaan (sic.)”

This poster shows a team of football players covered in mud and Ajay Devgn sharing his inputs as a coach.  Maidaan is slated to be released on November 27th, 2020.
