As the the Film ’83 moves closer to its release, the makers are sparing no expense in marketing and promoting the film.  The lead actor is Ranveer Singh and he plays the character of Kapil Dev, the Captain of the Indian Cricket Team which won its first Cricket World Cup in 1983.

Ranveer Singh has steadily shared the first look of each of the characters depicting the players on the team which won the World Cup.  ’83 stars Tahir Raj Bhasin as Sunil Gavaskar, Saqib Saleem as Mohinder Amarnath, Ammy Virk as Balwinder Sandhu, Sahil Khattar as Syed Kirmani, Chirag Patil as Sandeep Patil, Adinath Kothare as Dilip Vengsarkar, Dhairya Karwa as Ravi Shastri, Dinker Sharma as Kirti Azad, Jatin Sarna as Yashpal Sharma, Harrdy Sandhu as Madan Lal, Nishant Dahhiya as Roger Binny, R. Badree as Sunil Valson and Pankaj Tripathi as the Team’s manager, P.R. Man Singh.

The first look of the film was recently Unveiled in the city of Chennai, with Indian acting great Kamal Hassan pulling up the curtains for the first look.  The poster shows all of ‘Kapil’s Devils’ in one frame.

’83 is slated for release on April 10th, 2020.
